Preparation and safety
Switch the radiator off and wait until it is completely cool. Protect the floor and wall with a cloth, and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for delicate or electric models. Remove a cover only when this can be done without tools, force or a risk of damage.
- Switch the radiator off and let it cool
- Protect the floor and wall
- Move curtains and furniture out of the work area
- Avoid harsh products and large amounts of water
- Follow specialist guidance for electrical or unusual components
Remove dust from the inside out
Start by vacuuming loose dust with a narrow attachment. A long, flexible radiator brush can reach many internal spaces. Then wipe accessible outer surfaces with a lightly damp cloth and dry them. Cleaning water must not enter the thermostat, valves or electrical components.
What a deep clean can achieve
Removing dust from the radiator improves cleanliness around the room and keeps air passages clear. It is not responsible to promise a specific energy saving, because consumption and heating performance depend on many factors. A heating specialist should inspect faults, rust, leaks or a radiator that does not warm up.
Sweefy’s Berlin offer
Under the current offer, Sweefy charges €9 for a deep clean of each normally accessible radiator. Unusual models, heavy build-up or difficult access are assessed from a photo in advance. You receive the confirmed price before the appointment and pay after the cleaning is complete.
